2011 Reflection
2011: I spent a lot of this year feeling lost and trying to find myself.  2012: I’m comfortable with myself, and excited for the adventures to unfold. Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself. -Rumi (quote courtesy of ka ying) **ended 2011/started 2012 sick, but I wouldn’t have this day to reflect/finally do nothing.

Also, its the first year that it didn’t snow for me, so no fresh powder :/ I didn’t pack a helmet so I couldn’t practice carving as much as I...

Crashingly Beautiful: Tao Te Ching Verse 10 →
crashinglybeautiful:  Can you coax your mind from its wandering and keep to the original oneness? Can you let your body become supple as a newborn child’s? Can you cleanse your inner vision until you see nothing but the light? Can you love people and lead them without imposing your will? Can…

World AIDS Day 2011
In honor of World AIDS Day, this a picture of the HIV positive group I worked with in Uganda. And by worked, I mean listening to their problems and trying to help the best I can, but really what can I do?  Side note: Those dresses/kimonos with the silk looking scarf is their formal attire The best we could do for this group was talk to TASO and try (they said they would, but we were all...
